Youth in the Church is important because they represent the future of the faith community. The youth bring vitality, fresh perspectives, and renewed enthusiasm to the congregation. Engaging young people in the Church ensures the continuity of religious traditions and allows them to develop a solid moral and spiritual foundation. It offers a space to explore their beliefs, ask questions, and seek guidance, fostering a sense of belonging and identity within the faith community. Involving youth in the Church’s activities, such as volunteering, worship, and leadership roles, helps them develop valuable life skills, a sense of responsibility, and a deeper understanding of their faith. Investing in the youth of the Church is an investment in the long-term sustainability and growth of the religious community as they carry forward the teachings and values to future generations.
The purpose of Youth Ministry is to provide a dedicated and nurturing space within the church for young people to grow in their faith, spirituality, and personal development. Youth Ministry serves as a bridge between childhood and adulthood, aiming to guide and support youth in church through their challenges and opportunities. Youth Ministry within the church offers a platform for young individuals to deepen their relationship with God, explore their beliefs, and engage in meaningful discussions about their faith. It promotes a sense of community and belonging among young members, fostering connections with peers with similar values and aspirations.
Youth Ministry is important because it is crucial in nurturing young individuals’ spiritual and personal development within the church community. Adolescence is a pivotal time marked by exploration, self-discovery, and forming values and beliefs. Churches offer guidance, mentorship, and a safe space for these young members to grapple with questions of faith and identity by providing a dedicated ministry for youth. Youth Ministry helps them connect with their spirituality, deepen their understanding of religious teachings, and establish a strong foundation for their lifelong faith journey.
Youth Ministry encourages active participation in the church, fostering a sense of belonging and commitment among young people. It ensures the continuation of religious traditions and values by empowering the next generation to carry the torch of faith, making it an indispensable aspect of a vibrant and enduring church community.

Pastor & Lady Barrett
You are not here by chance, but by God’s Choosing. He has allowed you to be here in this time and season in history to fulfill his special purpose. You lack nothing that his grace won't give you. As you continue this journey as our Pastor and First Lady, may the Lord continue to bless you just as you have blessed so many others with your ministry. We love you more than words can ever express.
